The Motorcycle Driver Fatality Rate by Population
The Motorcycle Driver Fatality Rate is defined for a particular geographical area. The Rate equals the annual number of Motorcycle Drivers experiencing a Fatal Collision divided by the General Population of that particular geographical area. Generally we would want the population to have a low rate. This rate can be interpreted as the chance of a member of the particular population being killed driving a motorcycle. This rate can be used as a measure of state motorcycle safety programs' effectivness.
